Guacamole
Using fresh ingredients makes this guacamole recipe bright and flavorful.
- 6 ripe avocados
- 2 medium vine-riped tomatoes diced
- 1 small Onion minced
- 4 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro chopped
- 3 tablespoons fresh Lime Juice approximately 1 lime
- 4 cloves Garlic minced and mashed with a teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 2 teaspoon Cumin
- kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste
Halve avocados the long way. With a large spoon, scoop flesh into a bowl. Mash avocado with a fork until somewhat smooth.
Add remaining ingredients, stirring until combined. Season with salt & pepper.
KEEPING YOUR GUACAMOLE GREEN: Lay plastic wrap over the guacamole so that there is no room for air. It will stay fresh for a couple hours or until you’re ready to serve.
