Guacamole

Using fresh ingredients makes this guacamole recipe bright and flavorful.

Ingredients

  • 6 ripe avocados
  • 2 medium vine-riped tomatoes diced
  • 1 small Onion minced
  • 4 tablespoons Fresh Cilantro chopped
  • 3 tablespoons fresh Lime Juice approximately 1 lime
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced and mashed with a teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoon Cumin
  • kosher salt & fresh ground pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Halve avocados the long way. With a large spoon, scoop flesh into a bowl. Mash avocado with a fork until somewhat smooth.
  • Add remaining ingredients, stirring until combined. Season with salt & pepper.

Notes

KEEPING YOUR GUACAMOLE GREEN: Lay plastic wrap over the guacamole so that there is no room for air. It will stay fresh for a couple hours or until you’re ready to serve.
