Crooked Tree Aragula Salad with Tomato Relish
Ingredients
Salad Ingredients
- 3 Tomato large, seeded, and chopped
- 3 Caper Berry sliced
- 10-12 Kalamata Olives sliced
- 1 tbsp Basil fresh, chopped
- 2-3 cloves Garlic black, sliced
- 2 tbsp Balsamic vinegar Alessi, white
- 1/4 cup Pons Spanish Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Pinch of Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper
Dressing Ingredients
- 4-6 oz Arugula
- 1 1/2 tbsp Alessi Fig Infused Vinegar
- 4 tbsp Pons Spanish Extra Virgin Olive oil
Garnishing Ingredients
- 4-5 oz Manchego Spanish, smoked, shredded
- 6-8 Caper Berry
- 6-8 Anchovies Spanish
Instructions
Salad Preparation
- Combine the tomatoes, caper berries, kalamata olives, basil and black garlic in a small bowl. Toss with white balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Season to taste with salt & pepper.
Dressing Preparation
- Whisk the vinegar and olive oil together. Toss arugula in dressing.
Garnishing Preparation
- Place arugula on a salad plate. Top with tomato relish. Garnish with manchego, caper berry and Spanish anchovy.
