Dave’s Pacific Northwest Wine Reduction with Blue Cheese
This is so perfect when serving Grilled Steaks. Sprinkle some of it over your steak.
Ingredients
- 1 bottle State of Washington Pinot Noir
- 3/4 cup Honey
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 5 cloves wrapped in cheese cloth
Instructions
- Slowly simmer the above ingredients until it reduces to a 1 ½ cups. This should take about 1 1/2 hours. After an hour of simmering, remove the cloves and the cinnamon stick. Let cool and refrigerate. Serve over your favorite blue cheese. You can refrigerate the reduction for 2-3 weeks or freeze it.
